After the success of the “Arts in Resistance” solidarity day in 2019, Impact Chile is very happy to return for a “Music in Resistance” evening. The first part of the concert will be performed by pianist Maria-Paz Santibanez, who will play works by French composers Claude Debussy and Maurice Ohana and will also offer an excerpt from the Suite for Piano and Pans dedicated to the Chileans who have been demonstrating since mid-October 2019 to regain their dignity and see the release of the political prisoners of the revolt. In the second part, Alvaro Bello will play compositions from the albums “Meloalegria” and “Y que Paso” as well as emblematic Chilean songs revisited. He will be accompanied by the Alvaro Bello Acoustic quartet with Didier Ithursarry on accordion, Patricio Lisboa on double bass and Benoist Raffin on drums.
The Frente Cacerola of Chile, very active for solidarity in the field, supports this concert.
