Book

On the stage, a ballet of robots dances before the eyes of the audience, also present on the set. These ten or so telepresence robots are remotely controlled by hospitalized or disabled children. From this robotic symphony emerge the voices and songs of these young performers, joined on stage by dancers. Is there a difference between “presence” and “telepresence”? What contacts can be established between man and machine? The audience is invited to take an active part in the exploration of these questions on stage, using their own bodies and movements.
