It was after a performance of Rudolf Nureyev’s The Nutcracker that Karl Paquette attained the rank of “star dancer” at the Paris Opera Ballet. And since then, this particular ballet has held a special place in his life. With this new adaptation, Karl Paquette wishes to pass on to young people his passion for dance with its magic and its enchantment. Set to Tchaikovsky’s famous music, Hoffmann’s tale, revisited by Alexandre Dumas, this production is directed by Clément Hervieu-Léger of the Comédie-Française.
