Biography

Recently appearing as the role of Goldie Wilson in the original cast of  Back to the Future, Adelphi Theatre, Cedric Neal, was also a Semi-finalist on the 2019 series of “The Voice UK” and made his West End debut as Berry Gordy in the original London cast of “Motown- The Musical.” Other London credits include: “A Christmas Carol” at the Dominion Theatre, “Songs For A New World” at The London Palladium, “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “The Gershwins’ Porgy And Bess” at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, ‘The Arbiter’ in “Chess” (London Coliseum), “21 Chump Street” at the Courtyard Theatre, ‘Willie’ in the Soho Theatre premiere of “The View Upstairs”, “King,” portraying Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr (Hackney Empire), “Rhythm Of Life” (St. James Theatre.) Broadway credits include “After Midnight” (Director/Choreographer- Warren Carlyle) and “The Gershwins’ Porgy And Bess” (Director- Diane Paulus.) Mr. Neal was an original member of the Brierley Resident Acting Company at the Dallas Theater Center, where he starred in productions of “The Who’s Tommy” (Tommy), “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Puck), “A Christmas Carol” (Christmas Past), “Death Of A Salesman” (Happy Loman), and as Billy Lyons in “Stagger Lee.” Television Credits: “Friday Night Lights” (NBC-Universal). 2012 & 2014 Tony Awards. NBC Today Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the 2015 Olivier Awards. Film Credits: Lost In London (Written, Produced and Starring- Woody Harrelson) Awards include- Helen Hayes Award (Outstanding Supporting Actor- “Dreamgirls”), Texas Legacy Of Success; Leon Rabin Award (Outstanding Supporting Actor- “Tick, tick…BOOM”) Glory to God for LIFE.
