Terms and conditions

Performances begin at the time indicated on the ticket. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the start time.

Admission to the auditorium once the performance has begun is subject to restrictions :

Access to reserved seats is no longer guaranteed after the performance start time, as indicated on the tickets.

Latecomers may take their seats only during an intermission, should there be one.

It is strictly forbidden to take pictures, videos or any sound recordings of the show.

Cast and programs are subject to change at any time. Tickets will not be refunded unless the show has been postponed or cancelled by the Theatre du Châtelet. The resale of tickets by any company or individual not authorized by the show’s producer is strictly forbidden and subjected to the sanctions provided in the French criminal code (March 12th 2012-348 law).

Consumption of food and/or beverages is prohibited in the theater’s main auditorium.

Admission to the auditorium is permitted only upon presentation of a valid ticket, as verified at the entrance. Each ticket is valid for one seat only.

For security reasons, a screening process has been implemented before entering the theater. The doors to the auditorium are closed as soon as the performance begins. For security reasons, the main theater doors are closed 15 minutes after the start of the performance.

Luggage and travel bags, as well as motorized or non-motorized personal mobility devices (except for those used by people with reduced mobility), are not permitted in the auditorium or in the cloakroom.

For safety and public health reasons, children under 3 years of age are not recommended to attend the theater, even when accompanied by an adult, except for special events designed for very young children. Regardless of age, every child must have a ticket for the performance. Booster seats are available from the box office staff.

All health and safety measures in effect on the date of the performance must be strictly observed.

All audience members are required to follow the instructions given by the reception staff and to sit in the seat indicated on their ticket.
