The pianists Stephan Oliva and Sophia Domancich offer you a jazz evening, all in improvisation.

Stephan Oliva is one of the most assertive and exciting contemporary pianists. His poetic universe, saturated with serenity, where lines and arabesques are traced or curved with discretion often, but always determination, distinguished him from his first moments on the jazz scene. For the Théâtre du Châtelet, he prepared a solo based on all his artistic stories, past and future, mixing memories of cinema and territories to explore. His keyboard has not finished transforming itself into a garden for the reveries of solitary walkers, all of us as much as we are.

Each solo performance is a new experience, different from the previous one. The place, the acoustics, the instrument, the audience, all these elements participate in this unique moment. And well beyond the certainties, there is improvisation.

Sophia Domancich
After Rêves familiers and SO, his next solo album, Le grand jour, is scheduled for April 2021.
