At the crossroads of nature, childhood and wonder, two nightingales meet, inspired by Edvard Grieg, Johannes Brahms, Alban Berg, Maurice Ravel and Olivier Messiaen. The singer Natalie Dessay, a legendary nightingale of the operatic stage, engages in dialogue with Johnny Rasse, the birdsong artist from the Baie de Somme, whose wild trills recreate the songs of finches, warblers, blackbirds and gulls.

This unique conversation between the human voice and the voice of nature was conceived and written by pianist Shani Diluka, who performs on stage alongside Neima and Laurent Naouri.

An original recital blending the repertoire of the French mélodie, nineteenth-century piano music, and the poetry of Alphonse de Lamartine, Paul Verlaine and Jacques Prévert.
