Aurore Voilqué

A violinist who has been a fixture on the French gypsy jazz scene for several years, violinist and singer Aurore Voilqué believes in youth and in the new generation that is arriving en masse. That’s why she’s invited Simba Baumgartner, Django Reinhardt’s great-grandson, to join her, a virtuoso guitarist in the tradition of his great-grandfather. Gypsy jazz standards and French songs are on the program, all performed with virtuosity and musicality.
